The Admira Handcrafted range brings together the best materials and builders who follow traditional Spanish methods to create each guitar by hand. The A4's solid Cedar top gives power, and premium finishing touches including wood binding and an ebony back with maple inlay make for a very attractive instrument.
The A4 is the first guitar in the Handcrafted series to feature hardwood reinforcement in the neck for stability and strength. Ebony has also been selected for the back and sides, and on the back a maple inlay is set down the middle for strength and looks. Like the other guitars in the Handcrafted series, this guitar combines a solid cedar top with premium materials and expert workmanship in the Spanish tradition.
Made in Spain according to tradition, Admira Handcrafted guitars feature a Spanish heel, lightweight solid cedar tops and carefully constructed struts for power, volume and clarity in tone. The Spanish heel is a complicated neck joint where neck and heel are carved from one piece of wood that is interlocked with the sides of the body, giving enhanced tonal qualities compared to a standard glued neck design.
The builders chosen for the Admira Handcrafted workshop use premium wood and other materials including bone nut and saddle and quality machine heads for reliable and easy tuning.
