1/2 Picato "Innovation" Double Bass Strings Set. Solid core medium tension chrome tape wound set with ‘space-age' hybrid polymer core material with exceptional gut-like qualities. They have sufficient lift, or edge, to the note when playing pizzicato and have exciting articulation when bowing. Resistant to climate changes.

The properties of the '140B' Innovation set are particularly beneficial with older instruments but both display an ease of sound production and articulation with either pizzicato or arco. Developed in the UK over three years in collaboration with two major string makers, each with over 30 years of string making experience, and with the consultation with top US and UK bass performers.
