The next step up in looks and tone, the Student Extra sets the intermediate student up for continued success
The Enrico Extra series cellos are the next step up from the entry Student II and Student Plus II instruments, delivering an instrument that is a perfect fit for the intermediate and advancing student. Better quality wood, craftsmanship and outfit components means uncompromising quality and value.
The tighter grain solid spruce top is a favourite among string specialists and luthiers who may tweak the outfit during set-up to achieve outstanding tone for a student priced instrument. The solid maple back and sides begin to exhibit impressive flame that shows the accomplishments of the player and stands out in the recital hall. The figuring of the wood is highlighted by the dark matte finish that matches the instruments rich tone.
Pegs and fingerboard are ebony, lightweight tailpiece with in-built adjusters is standard for tuning stability, and the ebony endpin with adjustable spike has been chosen for it’s sturdiness. Along with the FPS brazilwood horsehair bow and rosin, these cellos are supplied with the popular deluxe 20mm padded bag made from heavy duty nylon weave exterior with a plush red velvet-like interior for ultimate safety.
